Ben Best dead: Eastbound & Down’s co-creator dies just before his 47th birthday

Ben Best, co-creator of Eastbound & Down and The Foot Fist Way has died just one day before his 47th birthday.

Production company Rough House Pictures confirmed the sad news in an Instagram post.

The post read: “It’s with heavy hearts we say goodbye to our good buddy Ben Best.

“We lost him the day before he would have turned 47.

“A hell of a friend and a creative force.

“He inspired us and made us laugh.”
