Bell Bottom Trailer: Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan laud Akshay Kumar for ‘taking the lead’ in making film a theatrical release – Eagles Vine

After a long wait, the action-packed trailer of superstar Akshay Kumar’s upcoming spy drama ‘Bell Bottom’ was unveiled on Tuesday.

The espionage thriller, inspired by true events, features Akshay as an agent of the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW) as he sets out on a covert operation to save hostages from a hijacked plane. The trailer that dropped online this evening, offered all the thrills, action and upbeat tracks to get fans excited about its big theatrical release in both 2D and 3D formats.

The trailer didn’t just leave fans impressed but also had fellow Bollywood superstars like Ajay Devgn, Hrithik Roshan and many other former co-stars including Riteish Deshmukh, Rakul Preet Singh, Varun Dhawan, Taapsee Pannu along rooting for the team.

Ajay lauded Akshay for his decision to lead the way back to theatres. He said, “Congratulations Akki. The trailer of Bell Bottom is terrific. I’m so glad you are taking the lead in making it a theatrical release. With you in this endeavour. Always stay ahead.”

Hrithik also extended his congratulations to the leading man and his team, in a Tweet that read, “Team #BellBottom is here to bring back theatrical experience in style on 19th August 2021. Invigorating trailer guys! Congratulations Jackky and team.”

The film will see Lara Dutta as Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, Vaani Kapoor playing the role of Akshay’s on-screen wife, while Huma Qureshi plays the role of a spy to help the Indian team on their rescue mission in Dubai.

The Ranjit M Tewari directorial is slated to release in cinemas on the 19th of August, 2021.
