Adah Sharma: I have so many personalities that I don’t need to be anyone else – Eagles Vine

Adah Sharma is undoubtedly one of the fittest actors in the industry. She takes part in Mallakhamb and sharpshooting training and follows a routine where she performs handstands, Silambam sticks, and Surya Namaskar. In an exclusive interview with ETimes, the actress opened up about the importance of being fit at all times.

“I will credit it to not consuming animals and trying to stay positive. Being fit is important at all times. If you can be healthy and make that your lifestyle then irrespective of ups and downs you will be fit. Whenever I do an activity – yoga, mallakhamb, silambam people ask me why. What are the benefits? I wish more people just did fitness activities for the love of it. To keep their body healthy and then the mind also follows. Just don’t only think about what you would gain from it,” she said.

When asked what fashion is for her- following trends, comfort or experimentation, she replied, “To be honest, fashion in real life for me is freedom. I can do whatever I like with no policing. I enjoy that. Of course, in films, we follow a character and I enjoy obeying that too. In real life, fashion can be art, it can be fun. It also helps that I have a very loyal fan following who appreciates all the crazy stuff I do. Some validation is always nice. I’m very fortunate I have a loyal audience that actually stands up and fights trolls online if anyone says anything negative about me. It’s very touching. They don’t even know me. I call them Adah’s army.”

Elaborating further, she added, “From when I was a child I used to wear and do what I liked. It didn’t matter if people thought I was strange because I was talking to a dog or wearing pants as a top. When I decided to do movies, people told me to dress and behave a certain way so, in the beginning, I tried very hard to be like everyone else. But then I realised that whenever I was myself, people liked me more. I liked myself more. So I went with that. Adah only has so many personalities so I don’t need to be anyone else.”

When Adah Sharma is not working, what is that she loves doing the most? “I like being in nature. I like playing the piano, watching movies, the regular stuff everyone does and then I fly when no one’s looking,” Adah concluded.
