A Place In The Sun’s Lee Juggurnauth talks filming concerns ‘They don’t know I can’t swim’

A Place In The Sun presenter Lee Juggurnauth took to Instagram yesterday to open up about his concerns while filming the hit Channel 4 property show. The APITS newcomer is currently abroad filming the series, when he addressed an uncomfortable filming situation with his production crew.

In view of his 25,000 followers, the property expert relayed his worries about filming in a specific location.

Standing on a bridge, the star spoke to the camera, revealing the picturesque view behind him.

Appearing concerned, Lee said: “So, I don’t know if these lot know I can’t swim.”

He added: “They’re making me do a piece to camera on a bridge, over a river… and I’m not the strongest swimmer,” he confessed light-heartedly.

Addressing the moment he learnt that he had been successfully cast for the show last year, Lee admitted that it was a dream come true, as he had been turned down by the property show before.

He said: “It was kind of like a pinch me moment because I had previously auditioned for the show two years prior to that.

“I got quite far, I got into the final two, but they chose someone else instead because they wanted a girl at the time.”

He explained: “There’s that saying that goes, ‘What’s meant to be won’t pass you,’ so that that’s a true testament to that.”
